At BVPS, we are always seeking to improve. Every year, we set priorities for improvement by analysing a wide range of data, as well as listening to children, parents, staff, governors and outside agencies such as local authority consultants and Ofsted. Senior leaders and governors then draw these priorities together in a School Development Plan, which we implement throughout the year and evaluate again at our Inset day in June.
In addition, there are action plans drawn up for the Governing Body, the health and safety committee, school development teams (ICT, Eco and Community) and subject leaders.
Our children also write their own school development plan following a special afternoon in September when representatives from each class work with the head teacher, senior staff and governors to agree their priorities.
Some of these documents are now available for you to look at on this page.
